Your work stays yours

Projects, tasks, timer sessions, daily goals and schedules are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, they are also stored in your own iCloud account, under Apple’s terms, and I have no access to them. WabiTime has no accounts and no servers of its own.

Anonymous usage analytics

WabiTime uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to find crashes. Examples of what is recorded: that a timer session began and which mode it was, the platform, whether a daily goal is set, and crash reports. None of it includes the names of your projects or tasks, and none of it can identify you.

You can turn this off at any time with the Share usage data switch in WabiTime’s settings. On iOS, declining Apple’s tracking prompt turns it off as well. With it off, nothing is sent.

Purchases

Subscriptions and tips are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. WabiTime never sees your payment details.

Reminders and notifications

If you choose to add scheduled tasks to Apple Reminders, WabiTime asks for permission to write to Reminders and does only that. Notification permission is used only to tell you a timer has finished.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top says when.
